Hello! I am Isabella Mendes, a teaching artist, singer, songwriter pianist and performer. My sound is a mix of jazz, bossa nova and originals. Artists who have inspired me include Norah Jones, Eliane Elias, Jobim, Billie Holiday, Rosa Passos, Regina Spektor and Suzanne Vega.
I am grateful for this beautiful community in Hamden, where I have built my private music studio teaching, and have been appreciated as a performer. Best Video is a staple of this community and it is a pleasure to support them. They do some much for our community and our local artists, and it is a real pleasure to continue being a contributing member and advocate for this wonderful organization that is Best Video.
